Hurrah. At long last it’s the weekend. And if you’re sitting twiddling your thumbs this Saturday afternoon trying to work out what to do today then check out our guide of the best bits going on in London today and tonight…
Day:
Stik, Walk exhibition: Head to Imitate Modern gallery today to check out the latest exhibition by legendary street artist Stik. If you’ve never seen any of his work before then you should definitely check this one out.
Work out for free: Today and tomorrow you can take part in free exercise classes and swimming sessions at the Barbican Golden Lane Sport & Fitness centre who are celebrating their new face lift.
Celebrate food in film: The Henley International Food and Film Festival returns today to celebrate all things film and all things food. The festival involves screenings of films with food types in their titles, think Eat Drink Man Woman, Babette’s Feast and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Night:
Head to the Euston Tap: This week we’re highly recommending the Euston Tap a bar where you’ll find 8 rotating cask ales, 20 more on keg and around 150 in bottles and is an absolute must-go-to for beer lovers everywhere.
Head to a speak easy: Looking for somewhere to go for a drink tonight with a difference? Head to Rudy’s in Hackney. The new speakeasy is apparently absolutely amazing and they even serve their drinks up in original milk bottles from the 1940s.
