Robbie Williams’ menswear label, Farrell has just opened its online shop.
The brand launched its Autumn Winter 12 collection at Selfridges Oxford Street, London last Thursday, with the ex-Take That man himself answering questions from the floor.
The label’s name comes from Williams’ grandfather, Jack Farrell, aka ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ who apparently taught his grandson ‘how to punch’ when he was four years old. Hey, no one was going to steal his crayons, were they?
The brand’s logo is the Stafford Knot, harking back to the singer’s proud British heritage.
It’s a theme that runs through the collection. He’s come up with his own version of the traditional quilted jacket, originated by the likes of Barbour, with cool oversized pocket detailing for £150.
This Control trench is our favourite, though. Another twist on a British classic, it comes with a removable red wool lining to ensure it lasts the whole season.
There’s accessories too; we like the old school trilby and Baker Boy hats, while the silk evening scarves are all very Downton… which of course is a Good Thing.
We’re told the website is set to feature a number of exclusive online deals alongside its video content and the revamped Farrell blog, so it’s worth checking back in the next few months.
