Last Wednesday, Don’t Watch That TV, an online TV channel streaming live sessions to the masses and doing a damn good job, saw a collaboration like no other between JUST JAM and Sugarlesque.
Sugarlesque is a lingerie boutique, which Who’s Jack has shared with you before. Owned by Miss Ruka Johnson, Sugarlesque is solidifying itself as a name, and not just a boutique. Mixing it up in true sexy, Sugarlesque fashion, Ruka stated on her blog: “Just Jam is an online music show run by Tim and Barry and it broadcasts live on ustream every Wednesday, and… it’s Valentine’s Day and I love LOVE.” Highlights included the Sugarlesque card girls, walking across the screen holding cards stating who was playing, in a boxing-ring style. Vintage glamour was abundant during some amazing sets from DJ Smallz, Big Ben, DJ Ordio Kid and a banging conclusion from Lady Chann and Joe Grime. It was one for both the men and the ladies, with burlesque dancers strip teasing and vintage porn to keep you visually entertained, all while listening to the tunes: a treat for all the senses and leaving a lot of ‘red faces’! Ruka had carefully sculpted every moment, directing a show that proved it had come out of some extremely hard work and planning. With a lot of hype surrounding the takeover I wouldn’t be surprised if we were to see a Sugarlesque event on our screens once again, and very soon.
