Here at WJ we’re always on the look out for a film with a slightly new direction and after watching this first trailer for Red Lights we think it could turn out to be an interesting one.

Red Lights sees Sigourney Weaver going back to what she does best, investigating the paranormal. Weaver plays a physicist who along with her working partner (played by Cillian Murphy) is investigating supposed psychics who make their living out of exploiting vulnerable people.

Just when they think their work has been in vein up pops Robert De Niro’s character Simon a renowned pshyic con artist who is suspected of murdering the last person who doubted him. When the investigations point towards him he doesn’t take kindly to it and all sorts of problems are caused.

While it’s not the most original idea ever to be made it isn’t one commonly seen on the big screen so for that reason we’ll definitely be going to see it when it’s released on 15th June.
