If there’s one thing that really gets on our nerves here at WJ HQ it’s people who don’t deserve to be famous thinking they have the right to become a fashion designer.

The latest example of a C list celebrity getting the chance to design her own pieces just because she’s on TV is Made in Chelsea star Binky, who has today released images of her modelling her new clothing collection.

As you can see from the images above the collection is far from mind blowing and it just makes us wonder who the hell gives these people the funding and the platform to embarrass themselves so much?

In fairness to Binky she’s probably the least offensive of all the Made in Chelsea lot and we do like the heart cropped tee that she sports in one of the images above. However the rest of the collection stinks of ‘try hard’ and we very much doubt she would actually wear any of it herself.

Binky is just the latest in a long line of ‘celebrities’ to turn their hand to designing just because they can. Of course Joey Essex of TOWIE fame designed a t-shirt collection for Selfridges and there’s the likes of Katie Price and the Kardashian sisters who have made themselves a small fortune with their make up range not to mention a million other names.

It might be jealousy, it might be a sense that we think we could do a better job given the opportunities these people have but whatever it is it annoys us and we just don’t understand why it’s allowed to happy.
