If you ask me there still aren’t enough vampire films in the world and by vampire films im not talking about the Twilights of this world or vampiric comedies, I am talking about evil, scary vampire films.
Enter a new Dracula movie that has just got itself a director – The Last Voyage of the Demeter.
With a title that sounds decidedly scarier than its counter parts I have high hope for this new vampire film that will now have Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent) directing it with Bradley Fischer, Mike Medavoy and Arnold Messer all in line to produce – think Shutter Island.
The film takes a more unusual slant with the script taking the perspective of unlucky passengers onboard the vessel that transported Count Dracula from Transylvania to England.
The project originally had Noomi Rapace in lead role but as it took a little too long she moved on so now we will have to wait and see who takes her place.
