The Princess of Wales pub has relaunched in Calpton at the hands of Geronimo Inns offering speciality pizzas and a brighter more open drinking and dining space as well as an outdoor space right next to the canal.
A new menu has been devised by pizza Pilgrims James and Thom Elliot, who have acted as consultant chefs for The Princess of Wales relaunch which gives Clapton a really nice traditional pub that now offers limited edition draught ales as well as traditional ones.
To get everyone involved in the pub the Princess of Wales are giving their Facebook fans the chance to suggest what they might like on their pizzas meaning that customers can begin to influence the pub, which is great.
The new menu includes stone baked pizza options such as Pizza Pata (Margherita topped with chips) – which we think sounds really good and simply Meat (hearty peperoni, beef and sausage) as well as small plates like deep fried whitebait and Grilled black tailed prawns in garlic butter.
