Primark’s Christmas collection is here with a hell of a lot of sequins and your nans curtains revisited.
But don’t let that introduction make you think we don’t like it. It encompasses Christmas perfectly – the obligatory sparkle, nothing so tiny that you will catch cold and the visiting of relatives that probably don’t have the best taste in presents but you love them all the same.
That’s how we feel about this new collection. Yes we were kind of over sequin blazers all of three years ago but for Christmas we can’t argue that they don’t fit and everyone needs something a little glitzy to wear to the Christmas party. Besides, rather a sequin blazer than freeze ones tits off.
As for the granny curtain prints, we love them, especially the dress with long sleeves – we’re loving long sleeves in general at the moment so we’ll be picking this up as soon as it’s out.
And before you moan at us that summers not over yet and that you don’t want to think about Christmas already – tough, there’s only three months to go till December, deal with it.
