Considering every fashion brand has to produce at least two lookbooks a year it always amazes us how uninventive some of them can be. Which is why this new one from 3.1 Phillip Lim is a breath of fresh air.

As you can see from the images below for their new lookbook Phillip Lim has decided to illustrate his own comic book in order to show off his new collection and it’s utter fashion genius.

Created alongside American comic book writer John Ostrander and entitled Kill The Night the comic has been inspired by the likes of Sin City and features ‘anti-heroines’ all dressed head to toe in Lim’s designs.

Alongside the release of the new collection in September a limited edition run of the comic book will also go sale so if you’re quick you’ll be able to get your hands on a copy.
