Pete Doherty has covered Marvin Gaye’s iconic song I Heard It Through The Grapevine and you can give it a listen above.
Doherty seemed to take a bit of a break from the music scene over the past year or so concentrating instead on his burgeoning acting career. However over the last month we’ve been hearing trickles of new tracks from the former Libertines singer who is said to be working on a new album.
Doherty performed the song on new TV show Hernu ‘N Harris: Unhinged where he also opened up about his acting career, writing new tracks in London and his battle with drugs.
Just earlier this week it was revealed that the singer had been kicked out of a rehab clinic in Thailand after he proved too disruptive to other residents.
