If rumours are to be believed Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson have signed up for David Michôd’s new crime thriller Rover.
It’s been a busy old week for Pattinson, in between a new trailer and new clips from his next film Cosmopolis he’s also been confirmed for Mission: Blacklist, a film about the capturing of Saddam Hussein and it’s becoming more apparent than ever that he’s keen to leave his teen heart-throb days behind him.
Now rumour has it that Pattinson along with Hurt Locker actor Pearce has signed on for Rover, a film about a group of car thieves.
Rover will tell the story of a very angry man (Pearce) who is desperately trying to track down a car thieving ring (including Pattinson) after they ‘half-inch’ his car in the desert.
At the moment nothing is set in stone and we’re not sure when filming will commence but no doubt we’ll hear more soon. In the meantime you can catch Pearce in Ridley Scott’s wonderful looking new film Prometheus which is due for release on 1st June.
