We first heard new Passion Pit track Take A Walk back in May and now we’ve got an official video to enjoy.

The short is in collaboration with The Creators Project and directed by British fella David Wilson, who has also been behind videos for bands such as Metronomy and The Maccabees. Frontman Michael Angelakos recently expressed that he wants each music video to be more like a short film rather than a generic advert for a song, and with Take A Walk he’s certainly succeeded.

The viewer follows the perspective of an incredibly bouncy ball that floats all over the place, taking in the sights of the sky, city and suburbia. Take A Walk is the first single from the new album Gossamer that is due for release on the 23rd of July here in the UK.

Passion Pit also treated us to a second more upbeat track from the upcoming album in the form of I’ll Be Alright a few days ago, which certainly resembles their signature style as well as reminding us of their Manners LP.
