It may be a bit cold and wet but this shouldn’t stop you from getting some fresh air. Not many of us have gardens so often an outdoor park or pub garden is out only hope to spend some time outdoors.
Parks however don’t have heater for when the weather gets a bit colder so instead why not find a covered outdoor space for you to feel all wintery in this autumn.
The Sun in Splendour in Notting hill has a partially covered, heated outdoors out the back that you may miss if you weren’t looking for it.
Mia, a large Middle Eastern Cuisine restaurant in Swiss Cottage does some very spicy but very very nice food and has a large heated outdoors where you won’t barely know you are outside other than when you turn and realise that it all backs onto a big park.
Wig Wam Bam is on a roof and of course has to be mentioned. You will find it at the Queen of Hoxton over the winter months. It’s a big wig wam full of lovely fires and comfy seats.
Sanctum Hotel has a 24 hour roof terrace bar complete with heaters and heated hot tub!
Aqua on Argyll Street looks out over the city with it’s small terrace and during the winter months offers blankets and warm cocktails to do with the heated tables and brilliant view outside.
The middle of Hoxton Hotel is a treat to spend a long evening outdoors, only a stones throw away from the warm interior at any time this little square complete with one tree and Chirstmassy atmosphere is great.
Finally the Lock Tavern in Camden has a number of tables all tucked under awnings outside in their garden that will keep you safe from rain and wind and able to enjoy a mulled wine in peace.
