Yesterday morning was a big moment in the film calendar, the moment the 2012 Orange BAFTA Rising Star nominations were announced and so without further ado here’s who’s made the cut…

Adam Deacon, Chris Hemsworth, Chris O’Dowd, Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston. An original shortlist of 8 were chosen by a panel of 13 judges who included Sienna Miller and Simon Pegg and then the public slimmed it down to a list of just five who will all go head to head for the award at next months ceremony.
