When she’s not playing human-turned-vampire Bella Swan or wielding an axe in Snow White and the Huntsman Kristen Stewart can be found playing a free spirited wife in On The Road.
Now two new clips from On The Road have been released giving us a better idea about Stewart’s new role which is largely being viewed as a risky one for the Twilight actress. Doing away with her good-girl image created by the vampire franchise Stewart can be seen topless in this new film and also taking part in several sex scenes.
In the first clip Stewart’s character Marylou is seen talking about her failing marriage to a man called Dean (played by Garrett Hedlund) and her impending engagement to a sailor. While in the second we see Dean with his new girlfriend played by Kirsten Dunst.
Based on the novel of the same name by Jack Kerouac the film follows two male friends who go on a spontaneous road trip across America as they go in search of freedom and a lot of drug and alcohol fueled fun.
On The Road is released in the UK on 21st September.
