Who isn’t jumping on the Olympic band wagon hey? We’re not complaining, it adds a few extra bits of excitement to the place having bars and restaurants make special ‘Olympic led’ efforts and we’ll no doubt be taking them up on some of them.

Shaka Zulu will be celebrating the Olympics by launching The Game Menu, a four course meal that will showcase a healthy and lean game meat native to Africa. Shaka Zulu will also have themed nights of entertainment for every night that the games are on.

Archer Street are going down the theatre route. Throughout the Olympic period, Archer Street, already famed for its popular live sessions and open mic nights, will be featuring live performances from all of London’s most well loved musicals, with the cast from shows such as Mamma Mia and Jersey Boys belting out numbers from their shows.

Bunga Bunga - are going all out and transforming themselves into the ultimate Italian players lounge compelte with an Italian medal count board keeping a running tab on how many golds, silvers and bronzes have been bagged by the Italian’s. The Italian National anthem will be played and sung throughout the Olympics, with the waiters and bar staff all standing still for a few moments to show appreciation fortheir Italian stallions. Bunga Bunga will also be hosting an opening and closing ceremony for the Olympics, with a running track instead of a red carpet leading up to the venue, and launching a brand new cocktail called the ‘Olympic Flame-ing Cocktail’ which incorporates an actual flame. Karaoke will be in full swing as Bunga Bungatry to make it an Olympic sport, along with the new drinking game ‘Shot Put’.

The Brompton Bar& Grill are going a little off piste and offering a sports free zone throughout the Olympics. What they will be offering is jazz performances throughout to offer a bit of relaxation and escapism from the games.

Finally supperclub are going to take a blast into the past by turning the venue into the traditional Greek Olympics in honour of Olympics 2012. There will be chariots, ancient games and people dressed as Greek Gods and Goddesses, as well as a reenactment of the first ever Olympic Games opening ceremonies.
