BBC Radio 1 have announced the first 25 acts who will be playing at their Summer event, Olympic Hackney weekend festival.

Among those performing are Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Florence & The Machine, Will.i.am, Chase & Status and The Maccabees. With 100,000 tickets being made available (many of them going to Hackney residents) the event will take place between 23rd – 24th June and will mark the start of the Olympic Games which will kick off just a few weeks later.
