Daniel Leer from Henley-on-Thames has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure following his starkers streak during yesterdays Olympic Torch Relay.
The man who had “Free Tibet” written on his back became part of the procession for a short while following the Torch on its way to Sir Steve Redgrave.
It’s said that the Police and crowds were a little slow on the uptake but once the man’s offence was realised he was covered in a blanket and lead away from the scene. As with many incidents in the age of the internet video’s and images are currently circulating since the event yesterday.
With all the fuss that’s being made about the Olympics and the British public being on their best behaviour this may be seen as a bit of a blip, but its a pretty funny one.
