It seems that everyone on O2 is having a signal black out this morning with no phones being able to make or receive calls, or anything else for that matter.
It turns out it is something to do with the 3G messing up and if you turn the 3G off you should get your signal back. If your phone doesn’t have the capability to do then them We’re afraid you’re just going to have to wait.
This is the second time the O2 signal has gone in two days and people are starting to get a little hacked off.
General consensus on Twitter includes comments such as :
What’s worse than My O2 #nosignal .. Having a signal and it still not allowing you to call
Wtf my @o2 is down again, no signal this morning, I pay a lot for mycontract, who else can’t connect?
I have switched off and on my @O2 phone but don’t know if it’s working or not because I CAN NEVER GET A BLOODY SIGNAL IN PETERSFIELD!
There was a service update at 8am this morning that said :
08:00 – We can confirm that our 2G network service has now been restored. Customers who were affected should now be able to make and receive calls.
However people are still experiencing widespread issues.
