The National Portrait Gallery’s The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, the annual photographic exhibition is still on if you want to have a look around before Christmas. You have a little while as it runs on through until mid February.
The annual photographic exhibition had its first unveiling in 2005 and has since become one of the major photographic trend setting exhibitions in London. Photographic styles get set at these exhibitions and famous photographers are made.
A wide range of subjects are touched upon from beauty to horror in the exhibitions that any photographers can enter, there were 2,350 entrants this year and 60 images were selected to be shown at the National Portrait Gallery.
Out of the images shown one will win a prize of £12,000, The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize
