Back in January we were blown away by Converse and Missoni’s debut joint collection however after seeing this new pair of shoes from the two brands we’re not so sure them teaming up was a good idea.

Obviously having a bit of an off day Converse and Missoni have managed to come up with an idea for these Auckland Racer shoes which are, for want of a better word, ugly.

The shoes were first spotted this week on Missoni’s spring/summer 2013 menswear catwalk in Milan and will be going on sale to the wider public next year.

The design is made from Missoni’s iconic stretch print fabric which is nice enough but it’s the clumpiness of the shoe and the weird mish mash of colours which we think offends us so much.
