Today phone giants Nokia have started to trial a free wi-fi service in certain parts of central London.
Until the end of 2011 Nokia will be offering a high-speed service across 26 areas including Westminster, Victoria, the West End and Marylebone where users of any devise will be able to access wi-fi without the need to sign in or register beforehand.
If the trial is a success the phone manufacturer say they will roll it out to other areas including parts of India and Africa.
