Music magazine NME have announced that they will be hosting a special exhibition in London to celebrate their 60th Birthday.

Behind NME Lines will be hosted at the NEO Bankside on the South Bank between 19th September – 6th October and will feature some of the most iconic covers from the magazines history.

Among the covers on display are ones featuring the likes of Blur, The Beatles, Oasis and The Smiths as well as lots of other instantly recognisable faces.

The exhibition is being put on as part of the hugely popular Merge Festival which celebrates arts, music and performance in London.
