If there’s one director who knows how to shoot a beautiful short film it’s Nicolas Winding Refn and you can see the proof above.

This new short film has been shot for the new Gucci Premiere perfume campaign and stars fashion muse of the minute, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively.

Recently premiered at the Venice Film Festival the 1 minute 24 second film stars Lively as she salters through a rather expensive and shiny looking apartment. It also shows the actress walking across a desert as she’s filmed by a camera crew.

The video is absolutely beautiful although that’s exactly what we’d expect from the man who directed 2011′s critically acclaimed film Drive.

As for future projects for Refn is currently working once again with Ryan Gosling on forthcoming effort Only God Forgives about the darker side of a Thai boxing leader. You can expect to say that when it’s released in November.
