Ok so technically we doubt that Clegg was given any say in the matter but satire and ever funny website The Poke have created a great new track made up of the speech Clegg gave when he apologised for going back on some of this parties promises.

Dubbed the Nick Clegg Says Sorry (The Autotune Remix) the track has been floating around online for a while becoming quite the viral hit. Especially over on Youtube where comments such as ‘ASSHOLE. I cant afford to go to university’ and ‘All politicians are lying, cheating, thieving, egomaniacal sociopaths. The game is up’ are appearing in their thousands.

Seeing a way of cashing in on the excitement The Poke sent a direct tweet to the LibDems asking if they could get permission to release the track as a single. Showing a good amount of humour Clegg personally replied giving them the go ahead but asking that all proceeds are donated to the Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. Very kind indeed.
