The burrito craze is certainly giving chicken and burgers a run for their money of late and the newest addition is Death By Burrito just open at Catch Bar Shoreditch.

Death By Burrito is an exciting contemporary Mexican grill and cocktail bar brought to you by Shay Ola of underground experimental concept the Rebel Dining Society.

Death By Burrito will of course be serving up burritos but also you will find experimental cocktails from mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana (formerly of Worship St Whistling Shop, Purl & 69 Colebrook Row and now Creative Director of Mr Lyan). Ryan has developed an exclusive Tequila Only cocktail list with Jose Cuervo Tradicional to go along with the street-food style menu.

Dishes and drinks go hand in hand at Death By Burrito; Ola and Chetiyawardana have carefully created a concise, simple menu to include large plates, small plates, sides and cocktails. Guests can gorge on Braised Pig Cheek & Crackling Burritos and Baja fish & slaw tacos served with Death By Burrito’s special deconstructed guacamole and blue corn chips. Scallop Ceviche, Ricotta poblano crepes and delicious crab cakes also feature on the menu, with side offerings of Sweet Potato Strings and Drunken Beans.

Burritos and tacos come in at £12 each and small bites range from £5.00-£7.00
