Peter Jackson and co have treated us to a new behind-the-scenes look at the filming of The Hobbit in this new production video.

Jackson started releasing these awesome production diaries last year and each one gives us an exciting insight into how filming of The Hobbit is coming along. This time around we get a look at the set chosen to represent Middle Earth as well as a good look at the dwarves and a chat with Andy Serkis the films Second Unit Director.

The Hobbit stars Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins and stars alongside the likes of James Nesbit, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee and of course Orlando Bloom and is due for release on 14th December.
