A new piece of work by Paul ‘Don’ Smith has popped up opposite the Pop Up Cinema in Portobello this month which pays homage to the police officers who were shot in Manchester last month.
The image shows the Queen, face covered crying supposedly for the loss of the officers.
The artist responsible, Paul ‘Don’ Smith, who has been a part of the graffiti scene since the 1980s and his Crying Queen has been seen in a number of works by the artist.
Paul has been commissioned by the likes of Ruby Wax, Ian Brown, Jason Flemyng and Roots Manuva. He recently had a solo show on at Graffik Gallery on Portobello Road which likely explains why the Borneo based artist was hanging around West London.
