Who doesn’t use Google? And who hasn’t noticed the different Google logos that appear at the top of the search pages daily?
If you look at them on each holiday or special anniversary and think you could do better then Google wants to hear from you. Google is looking for a new full-time Doodler to do its special logo designs for significant days of the year and historic figures.
Google’s first doodled logo was put up in 1998 (yes you are that old) and was for the Burning Man Festival in Nevada.
Since then Google has been making their logo relevant for all sorts of special days.
The first ever playable Google Doodle was to celebrate Pac Man’s Birthday in 2010.
If you want to be the new Google logo doodler then you will need a graphic design qualification, at least four years professional experience and be happy to relocate to California. You also must have a ‘sense of humour, [a] love of all things historical and imaginative artistry’.
