Fashion icons come in all different shapes and sizes whether it’s Kate Moss or Alfie Moon fashion inspiration can sometimes be found in the oddest places. And the new oddest fashion craze? The Parrot.
Yes that’s right the brightly coloured bird known for their song skills and imitating the voices of people seem to have come a bit of a fashion sensation seemingly over night.
Animal motifs have long been a staple on fashion garments, remember when swallows were all the range last year? Or when you couldn’t move for seeing a pony pattern on a dress?, but this is the first time in our memory we can remember parrots being a big as they are now.
Our suspicions about the parrot becoming fashionable were raised when we noticed a silk scarf covered in their pattern in Liberty and after a bit of digging we realised that the parrot had also made his way to the high street.
