New Dalston bar, Birthday’s will open in May on Stoke Newington Road adding to the area yet another new hang out spot.
Birthdays will be right on Dalston’s main strip just five minutes walk from Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations.
The bar follows on from examples such as Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes as it is housed in a retail unit rather than a conventional bar space. It is two floors and has a massive sound system installed that fits with the lights that we are told are ‘strange and pretty’ as to what that means we are unsure…
The ground floor bar will serve cocktails and of course the much needed new venue staple, craft beer with food also being served until late.
The basement is where all the music and the sound will be at and although the bar will pretty much always be free entry, entry to the basement won’t be.
With an opening date of early May Birthdays already has a load over events and nights booked in to swiftly put it on any outings list. Land of Kings, Tough Love, All Tomorrows Parties and O Children are all getting involved in nights.
