What better way to end a day than with some new clips from Wes Anderson’s new film, Moonrise Kingdom?
Due to open this year’s Cannes Film Festival Moonrise Kingdom is already set to be one of our most anticipated films of the year with all the trailers, posters and images we’ve seen so far giving us no reason to think it’s going to be anything less than superb.
The film has been co-written with Roman Coppola and stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman and the two brilliant looking child leads Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward.
Set on an island off of the coast of New England in the 60′s Moonrise Kingdom follows two 12-year-olds that fall in love and decide to run away together. However a violent storm is brewing off shore and the authorities need to track the two love birds down before it hits.
Due for release in the UK on 25th May this really does look like it’s going to be another huge hit for Anderson who already has titles such as Rushmore under his belt.
