Calling all unsigned bands. Things are tough out there at the moment and it’s harder than ever to get a record deal but fear not as we have a new competition that may be of interest for you.

Play & Stay at Aloft is a new competition being run by Aloft hotels and if you win you could find yourselves holed up in a studio with none other than We Are Scientists.

The concept is simple. If you’re an unsigned band or solo artist Aloft want you to send over your demos. If they like what they hear you could be in with a chance of playing a live gig at one of their hotels in Abu Dhabi, London or Brussels. We Are Scientists will then be watching back each of the performances and choosing the person or people they most want to work with.

The winners will be invited down to a studio where they’ll have 12 hours to write and record a track with the band and will be invited to their exclusive gig at Aloft London Excel in November to play the track alongside them.

How to win: All you have to do is email a demo or video clip to playandstay@aloftlive.com then sit back with your fingers crossed for a few weeks while they pick the winners.
