With the average person having 300 friends (albeit on social network sites) it’s hardly surprising that once every so often we might forget who someone is.
Perhaps it’s on the tube, or at a party but from time to time we all get that cringe worthy moment when our mind goes blank and we can’t match a name to the face approaching us.
That awkward moment could be a thing confined to the history books though if new phone app Klik has anything to do with it. The app works using face recognition coined by the website Face.com to identify a face when it appears in the real time view of an iPhone’s camera. Apparently Kilk has 90% accuracy however because of privacy issues it’s confined to just being able to recognise the people you’re friends with on Facebook. Now you just have to work out how to hold up your iPhone to the randoms face before they get near enough to notice what you’re doing…
