If the influx of out door cinema screenings hitting London this summer wasn’t enough for you and you’re still craving more then fear not because The National Theatre are launching their own one.
As part of their mini film season the theatre is opening the doors to an outdoor cinema on their fly tower for screenings of films such as This is Spinal Tap, Theatre of Blood and Woody Allen’s Bullets over Broadway.
The idea is that each film has a ‘behind-the-scenes’ theme which is something none of the other pop up outdoor cinemas have done yet so it should give this one a nice edge.
The screenings are free and if you get there early enough you’ll hopefully bag yourself a deck chair to sit in while the film plays. The first screening takes place tomorrow (16th August) and they carry on until 25th August.
