Warehouse’s newest collection is a collaboration with Natalie O’Hare, the winner of the distinguished Warehouse design competition, in partnership with British Fashion Council Colleges Council and judged with the help of Grazia magazine.
The competition asked the course tutors from a number of different universities, who are also members of the British Fashion Councils college council, to submit the portfolios of selected graduates. Once submitted a panel of judges chose the winning portfolio. The panel included the Design Director, Lisa Byrne and Marketing Director at Warehouse, a few members of the British Fashion Council and fashion news and feature editors at Grazia magazine. The judges chose the winning portfolio based on design ability and creative vision that summarised the Warehouse brand to the highest standard.
Natalie O’Hare was the design winner and her collection has created quite an impact on the Warehouse 2012-13 A/W collection.
O’Hare has designed a very classic collection with a modern twist, rich golden colours and a bit of sparkle makes it a wardrobe necessity this autumn. Let’s start with this amazing beige coat for £120. It has a silk bonded lining and a faux fur collar, sitting just above the knee making it a perfect glamour look for dress, jeans and evening wear.
This beautiful silk tunic dress is £75, it has an embellished collar and is another perfect example of the classic look O’Hare has gone for in this collection.
If you are looking for a statement evening dress, look no further. Made with embroidered sequinned fabric and completely show stopping this top and skirt dress combo is one of our favourites.
Winner of the photography category, Rachel Hannaway will shoot the campaign for this collection, so there is new talent all around. This is only a snippet of the collection so check it out as soon as you can – it’s limited edition so you’ll need to grab it before it goes. You will definitely regret missing out!
