It’s the moment fans have been waiting for but it seems that the trailer for Muse’s new album is already dividing opinion.

The 2 minute trailer for the album, which will be called The 2nd Law, popped up online earlier this afternoon. The clever trailer features news footage with an accompanying sound track taken from the new album.

The tracks heard are rather diverse ranging from a dub step track to a classical song and despite major hype surrounding it it seems that some fans were disappointed with what they heard.

One tweeter took to their page to say that the album sounded ‘too dubstepy’ while others spoke of their lack of optimism about what the finished product will sound like.

However it’s not all doom and gloom others were outspoken about how much they were liking Muse’s change of direction saying that they can’t wait to hear the album in full.
