All the acts were together at the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover festival in Portland, Maine. The festival is a series of shows all over the US and UK organised by the Mumford guys. While they were there they decided to make the most of their time together and perform a cover of The Band’s song The Weight.

It’s a high energy performance with lots of feet stomping, side slapping and messing around and watching it really makes us wish we’d been there.

For The Maccabees, Haim and Mumford & Sons it’s been a pretty damn good year. Mumford and co are getting ready to release their second album Bable while The Maccabees are riding off the back of the immense success of their third studio album Given to the Wild which jumped straight to the top 10 at the beginning of the year. Meanwhile it’s been a brilliant year for sister three piece Haim who have managed to make it onto all the ‘ones to watch’ lists as well as picking themselves up a serious following both here in the UK and back in the US.
