Goodness Mr Brainwash can’t get enough of the UK can he? First of all he was here in July for an exhibition at the Opera Gallery and now he is back and taking over the Oxford Street Sorting Office.
Not one to do things by halves the artist has taken over all five floors of the space and converted it into a gallery that features murals, stencil pieces and the type of large scale installations that he’s become so known for. If you’ve never see any of his work before you can expect bright colours, celebrity references and sartorial takes on popular cultures as well as influences obviously taken from his idol Banksy.
Mr Brainwash is known for going rather OTT with his events so this will be well worth checking out especially because the first 250 in get a special designed spray can and the rest of the people get signed postcards and posters.
The exhibition is open from 1pm daily and is open until 29th August.
