Following the success of stripper film Magic Mike at the Box Office action was quickly taken to ensure that a sequel was given the thumbs up.

And now we’re hearing dribs and drabs about what we might be able to expect from the follow up. As you’ll probably know the original, which was released earlier this summer, followed the story of a group of male strippers as they struggled to deal with the highs and lows of their profession.

It seems that leading star Channing Tatum made quite the impression on filmmakers and the audience as the actor is apparently in the running to direct the sequel.

As for the story line for the new film an interview with the films producer Reid Carolin revealed that it’ll be a ‘road movie’ about a group of strippers reforming and will be ‘really ridiculous and fun’. The ladies of the WJ office can’t wait…
