Mike Skinner has announced that he’s teamed up with Rob Harvey (from The Music) for a new project.
After retiring from The Streets back in 2011 Skinner has worked mainly behind the scenes on his newly reformed The Beats record label. However it appears he’s finally ready to lay down some vocals and begin work on something new.
His latest efforts are being channelled into The D.O.T, his new act who will be releasing an 11 track album at the end of October.
To celebrate the album release the two have announced today that they will be heading out on a UK tour including a performance at London’s XOYO on 15th October.
At the moment there’s no real word on what kind of music these two are making but we do know that they’ve got both Claire Maguire and American rapper Danny Brown guesting on the album.
Get tickets over on The D.O.T’s website.
