First Barbie took London Fashion Week by storm and now another childhood favourite is leaving his mark on the fashion world, Mickey Mouse.

The big eared mouse was all over the recent catwalk shows for spring/summer 2013 with his iconic face appearing on pieces by Meadham Kirchoff, Marc Jacobs and several other big name designers.

Yes that’s right Mickey Mouse, a character who would only usually be seen on the clothing items of middle aged tourists and those who wear vintage Disney t-shirts because they’re ‘edgy’, is very much back in fashion.
