Prometheus and Shame star Michael Fassbender has announced that his next role will see him playing the lead in an Irish rock band.
As far as schedules go Fassbender’s has got to be one of the busiest in Hollywood right now. Already over the next year he’s lined up to star in the next X-Men film as well as two new projects with Ridley Scott and Shame director Steve McQueen, an adaption of the video game Assassin’s Creed and alongside Natalie Portman in Jane Got a Gun. We’re tired just thinking about it.
Not one to give in to exhaustion the new role will see the actor starring in a new comedy known simply as Frank. The film is about an aspiring musician who ends up joining a band led by Fassbender’s character.
Other than that we have very few other details about Frank but just like all the other roles he has lined up over the next year, we imagine it’ll be pretty good indeed.
