Waterloo is getting another market in the vicinity.
Although Lower Marsh, just South of Waterloo Station as been a street market since the mid 19th century it has only just had the blessing from Westminster Artisans to run as Lower Marsh Market aga.
The market now has a license for a 1-year pilot in a bid to increase shopping and visitors on the iconic road. From this week the market will be open every Wednesday – Friday and late night shopping will be an option on Thursdays.
The market on Lower Marsh Street, which is regularly used as a filming and photography location will offer bric-a-brac, fashion and food stalls to include brands such as Jences Paella, Calf knits and Fratelli Formaggio to name a few.
