Ever thought about where all those Olympic athletes are going to be sleeping after they hard days Olympic-ing? Well wonder no more as we have a picture of the digs they’ll be given and they’re not overly impressive.
This is one of the bedrooms in London’s Olympic Village that will hold 16,000 athletes, coaches, and officials during the event. It’s pretty basic stuff.
If this is the grandiose-ness we can expect from the Olympics then everyone best pack up and go home already. Considering the place cost around £2 billion to create it’s pretty uneventful with shared bedrooms and communal bathrooms.
And yes, those duvets do say, ’excellence, friendship and respect’. Nice touch.
