Food markets. London has abundance of them. Most of them are a little cold and based on some rather uninspiring grey streets. However out of no where has come a market with a difference.
That difference is that it’s based in the London sky. SkyMarket is the latest opening in London Bridge and combines a deli, a bar and a multi-cultural kitchen. The idea is that the space brings together traders in the area and nearby Bermondsey to offer you a one stop, very exciting, place to eat, drink and pick up some fresh produce.
Lunch will be served each day between 12pm – 4pm and you’re invited down to sample the foods, learn how to cook them and share some recipes of your own with the on site chefs. Basically this place is all about admiring, enjoying and sharing food experiences so don’t be afraid to be vocal about what you do or don’t like.
As well as that SkyMarket will also be hosting arts and crafts events, a gallery, live music and performances. The program changes every few weeks as does their menu so to keep in the know get yourself on their mailing list.
