We are a bit late on the uptake for this but this week was National Chip Week. So in honour of the week we missed and with the mentality that there is still three days in the chip week left we thought we would put together a list of our favourite places for chips.
Callooh Callay, Old Street : Beer battered chips as side. These are essentially deep fried chips and are amazing. They are only about £3 and come with garlic mayo.
Prince Albert, Camden : tucked away on a side street these guys do a great side of chips that are home made and squishy. They come with ample home made mayo and tomato ketchup is on the table ready and waiting.
The Fox and Anchor, Clerkenwell : Coming in a brass beaker these chips are chunky, huge and fluffy as anything.
Kennedy’s, Clerkenwell : Great chip shop chips for £1.20
