London’s Brick Lane was subjected to some temporary changes over the weekend as part of the area was turned into a pixelated paradise.
The stunt was a rather clever marketing event to raise awareness for Disney’s Wreck-It-Ralph and create a buzz on twitter using the hastag #8bitlane.
A weekend transformation saw a section of laden with 8-bit props making quite the spectacle. Weekend visitors were mixing amongst the installation pieces which included a giant squared black cab, pixel pigeons and a little dog with a squared dog poo!
The ploy was a success as many people joined in sharing photos and tweets about the #8bitlane pop up to mark the Wreck-It-Ralph UK theatrical release, February 8th.
