Bored with all this cold foggy weather? We are as well and that’s why we’re heading to London Mallorca Week, one of the best sounded ‘weeks’ we’ve heard about in a while.
From the 22nd-28th October, several of London’s Spanish restaurants are taking part in the event and will be opening their doors and celebrating the delicious, fresh dishes of the Spanish island.
All of the participating restaurants will have a Mallorcan specialty dish on the menu as well as some refreshing Mallorcan wines on the menu.
If you need any more convincing on this grey day, how does scrambled eggs with Sobrasada and piquillo peppers from Barcelona Tapas sound? Or maybe try a cod doughnut (we’re not sure either but we’re willing to try) at the lovely Maltby Street Market in Bermondsy.
For those who want to get even more involved there are cookery classes, a cook-a-long on Twitter and wine tasting (we’ve already signed up) and all the events are listed on the website.
