Next Wednesday (24th October) Queen of Hoxton are holding a free entry launch event for their exhibition, Dance To The Beat. 12 handpicked artists have been chosen to paint directly onto the Queen of Hoxton’s walls, both exterior and interior. The exhibition will be complete by 24th October but there will be some live art from KAOS Kollective taking place on the night, not to be missed.

The Queen of Hoxton’s walls will again become a blank canvas for a diverse range of artists in a semi-permanent exhibition. Whilst most exhibitions display work within frames, contained in installations or presented on a plinth, The Queen of Hoxton do things slightly different. The 12 artists involved have been hand-picked by curator Liat Chen and will interpret the brief ‘dance to the beat’ applying a range of mixed media to the walls including screen print, music video, window design, acrylic paint, video animation and paper collage.

Kaos Kollective will be creating live paintings throughout the night at the launch event.
